Responsibilities: |
The Strategic Planning Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning process for our Regional or National Customers in order to ensure that we win with these key accounts. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
" Support the field sales organization on the planning and execution process for customers in the assigned geography
" Incorporate the Customer-specific insights into the companys planning process
" Own the development of the long term (3 to 5 years) customer planning process
" Represent the specific customer within the corporate HQ functions
" Analyze each brand and segment performance and recommend the needed corrective actions
" Keep the SWOT analysis updated for the customers under his/her responsibility
" Responsible for working together w/the field sales as well as the Trade Marketing Managers on the development of the Customer business plans

Qualifications
" 5+ years progressive Sales experience in the CPG industry required
" Minimum of 3 years direct Customer management experience required
" Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field (MBA a plus)
" Proven Leadership capabilities
" Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
" Ability to travel 40% to 50% of the time
" Strong Analytical skills and a high level of business acumen
" Experience successfully leading cross-functional teams
